Biography |
Hello,
My name is James Crisp. I will be teaching the Citizenship in the World Merrit Badge at the Blue Ridge Council's Merrit Badge Univirsity in 2018
I have been married to my wife Lori for just over 9 years. We live in Due West SC with our dogs Max and Allie and cat Ash. We attend Due West ARP Church. There we teach the Elementry Sunday School Class.
My scouting career started out in Troop 200 in Whitmire where I served as Assistant Patrol Leader, Patrol Leader, Senior Patrol Leader, and was elected to the Order of the Arrow. I went threw my Ordeal in July 1995. I earned the rank of Eagle in 1995, After aging out of the program I was the WEBLOS Den Leader of Pack 200 from November 1995-2002. After the pack folded I walked away from Scouting for about 10 years.With the encuragement of my wife I returned to scouting in August of 2011 as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 54 in Due West
After returning to Scouting I sealed my membership by becoming a Brotherhood member in 2012. In addition to my Troop duties I serve at the district level as the Program Chair as well as with the District Advancement committee. I was honored in 2015 with the Adult Religious Award for my Denomination. I was also blessed to recieve the District Award of Merrit in 2015. I am a proud graduate from Rougulope(Antelope) patrol of Wood Badge Course S5-551-13. I was also honored to be the Brotherhood judge at Dixie 14, and the Pre Ordeal judge in 2015-16.
In my spare time I enjoy listening to music, patch trading, and travel. |
